Your household rubbish can be left in the bins situated about half way along Calle Dels Plans (the bottom road of the urbanisation). These bins are for domestic waste only.

Larger items (old washing machines etc) can be collected from your house by prior arrangement with the Town Hall, who provide a collection service twice a month. They may also be taken to the Ecopark in Denia (turn right at the roundabout by the Chevrolet garage on the dual carriageway on the way in to Denia, and follow the signs).

Garden waste may no longer be burned at the basura by the Piscina restaurant. The quemador (at the end of La Solana) has re-opened and the first burning is on Wednesday 8 October 2008 and for the time being, weekly thereafter on Wednesdays.

People wishing to burn garden waste at their own premises may do so, but only if they have a permit issued by the town hall.   Permits are issued by the month and valid only during the month of issue. Anyone suspected of burning without a permit should be reported to the local police who will act to prevent further occurrences.

No burning whatsoever from domestic properties is permitted during June, July, August and September.
